REFLECTIONS

I took this photo a year ago when I first purchased my camera. I was walking around trying to find interesting things to capture when it suddenly started to rain and I resorted to the nearest shelter under a scaffold. While waiting for the storm to pass, I came across this shot that has become one of my favorites. I know this is not a fashion-related photo, but I just wanted to share something different with you. :)

This photo can provoke many different feelings but it also currently describes my feeling of being unproductive this week. I find that it can be difficult living with the city’s living standards and sometimes I wonder how long I can pursue my interests before I’m financially exhausted. It would be nice if I was a trust-fund baby or perhaps had the network to help me land on projects with media/fashion publishers. I suppose everyone has to start from somewhere and it’s just a matter of time and effort before I’m given an opportunity. Let’s just hope that I can survive up until Fashion Week because I’m looking forward to that!

On a brighter note, I currently have plans to work with a few people for “On The Spotlight” shoots, which I’m really excited about. I also recently acquired the new iPhone 3GS that I waited almost an hour at the store for! It’s a really neat phone, which I will probably use to pass time while I’m away for the July 4th weekend. I hope everyone have a good one!
