I remember taking this shot as Carine was stepping out of the car with Garance Dore for the Donna Karen show. Besides Carine looking so gracefully, I also find it striking that you can see a group of photographers reflected from her sunglasses. I guess this gives you an interesting perspective of what Carine sees through her lens.

These are my favorite photos….the reflections are totally magical! I remember when she wore that incredible hat…also, I have a major girl crush on Garance!!

Great photos. What makes them even more special is the reflection in her sunglasses.

Hey, how are you?
Sorry for the long absence… The last months were quite busy and I didn’t spend too much time in blogging or in visiting my fav blogs…
Weeeeee – What an amazing picture of La Roitfeld!! Congrats! I’ve seen a couple of her in that outfit – but this one is by far the best one!
Big hug, Sofie

Your work is going from strength to strength, Jason. It’s funny we started our blogs at the same time, and for similar reasons.
I don’t comment often enough here but want to say how happy I am for you that you’re growing so fast, so creatively. Very inspiring!
Please let me know if/when you’ll next in London (for fashion week in Feb perhaps?) would love to meet you!

I, too, like the photographers’ reflection in her shades, it definately adds to the picture and has some additional charm to her outfit too.

Carine is fabulous isn’t she? I love her style… she is quite daring for her age and is not afraid of trying new trends.
Love the Blog…. it’s saved in my favourites!

even though it’s already been written over and over again, i also wanna say: your prictures are amazing! and this one of carine r. – great! it’s like there’s a film running where her eyes are hidden by the glasses. very sci-fi.

its so interesting how you have captured a picture that seems so peaceful…like you just caught a quiet private moment as she walks…but through the reflection you see how insane that moment actually is. yet shes perfectly composed. j’adore.

Really amazing. And I love the bit about seeing through her perspective. ;)
