CARINE ROITFELD
I remember taking this shot as Carine was stepping out of the car with Garance Dore for the Donna Karen show. Besides Carine looking so gracefully, I also find it striking that you can see a group of photographers reflected from her sunglasses. I guess this gives you an interesting perspective of what Carine sees through her lens.

Your work is going from strength to strength, Jason. It’s funny we started our blogs at the same time, and for similar reasons.

I, too, like the photographers’ reflection in her shades, it definately adds to the picture and has some additional charm to her outfit too.

its so interesting how you have captured a picture that seems so peaceful…like you just caught a quiet private moment as she walks…but through the reflection you see how insane that moment actually is. yet shes perfectly composed. j’adore.
