I finally arrived back home to NYC and my first trip to Paris was a blast! Paris is such a beautiful city and I was fortunate to connect with several amazing bloggers/photographers along the way. I must admit that I was frustrated on my arrival day when I was unable to use the payphones with my limited French, but a young girl was kind enough to help me. The cold weather also didn’t make the experience very welcoming, but enduring the climate is just a small fraction to pay when so many colorful and beautiful things surround you.
I took this photo of Carmen Kass as she was exiting a show at Jardin Des Tuileries. The scene at the Tuileries is typically chaotic and with everything happening so quickly, my heart must’ve stopped beating for a few slow seconds while deeply mesmerized with the beautiful light before I snapped back into reality.
