The upper part looks really good. At the risk of committing a crime against fashion deities, I would say however, that the short-but-not-too-short trousers don’t work in this silhouette. We all need to know what our body shape is what suits our body shape. In this case, the outfit looks maladjusted: the trousers are either too short or too long & the shoes are too high to leave the gap needed for shorter trousers. The trousers also seem to hang uneasily on the calves. It may have worked on someone with longer, thinner legs, mind you.

lekisskiss.blogspot.com <– Texas gal bloggin fashion from NYC!
i love that suit and i like that he’s playing with people’s expectations with the pants and boots. it wouldn’t be my first choice but good for him for making this look his own.
I can’t decide if I like the unexpected twist of the rugged boots with an otherwise crisp clean outfit, but it’s an interesting look.
Top half – Immense! The 50′s / mad men haircut – the young handle bar moustache (needs a few more mm)! However, his bottom half is a nice surprise – unexpected! I have to agree with David! There is something about the pants that just don’t seem to hang well!

LOVE Nick’s new look! Classic, rugged, timeless and elegant!
They aren’t Ray Ban glasses, but they are Persol, which are about 2-3x more expensive and a lot cooler.
