HEIDI ROSENAU
I was fortunate to find out about the Dreamland Beach Party, a ‘20’s-theme event where lives performances by Michael Aranella’s Dreamland Orchestra and energetic swing dancers fill the stage to bring you back to another era. Among several performers, Heidi’s style and aura struck me as she swing-danced with her husband Joe. Being recently voted as one of Time Out New York’s most stylist people, she describe her style as pure, studied vintage, with a love of proportion, tailoring and detail; collecting 1920s through mid-1940s clothing and accessories, and can be found every day in a head-to-toe expression of a single era. I can only imagine the amazing vintage pieces she found over the years, which also prompted me to learn more about the 1920’s.
