MICHELLE COURSEY
I’ve been listening to a lot of swing jazz lately while going through the Dreamland Beach Party photos because it helps set my mind in another world. Sometimes my imagination runs wild and in this world I can be the saxophonist of the orchestra or one of the swing dancers. Realistically I’m inept in either of them, but I immerse myself in such world because it helps inspire me to set the mood in certain photos.
During the Dreamland event, I noticed Michelle’s dress as she was dancing and twirling on the stage. I have to admit that I was a slightly intimated because she simply looked amazing on the dance floor, and yes – my heart still palpitates when I approach someone mostly out of admiration for style or talent. But I’m glad that I overcame that fear because Michelle is such an energetic and friendly person, and I was looking to reflect that bright tone in these photos.
