It’s amazing how a friendly connection can be quickly made. With an amused look on Lialia’s face, I felt that she was walking randomly through the street outside the Limi Feu show when I asked for her photograph. Under the duress of time, lack of light, and crowded street, I grabbed a quick shot and gave her my card before she had to leave, but received a lovely e-mail a few hours later from her. A few days later in the metro while heading to another show, I noticed she was standing in front of me so I waved to her and initiated a short conversation. Lialia seems like such a sweet person and I was looking to get a proper photograph after Paris Fashion Week ended, but unfortunately our schedule did not work out. Hopefully we’ll have another chance to reconnect if I return for the Fall 2011 shows.
