DIANE BIRCH
I love jazz vocal so when I met Diane Birch and learned she was a singer/songwriter, I had to find out more about this talent. While I’m writing this, I have my headphone on with “Rise Up” on repeat, listening to a youthful and powerful voice with such maturity in her soul. Despite her seemingly shy personality – which may or may not be the case – her music reflects such a strong and vibrant tone, making me wonder how a passion can bring out certain characteristics that normally wouldn’t be publicly displayed. I consider myself to be a fairly quiet person, but I noticed when I’m in the moment of photographing, I lose almost all inhibitions and take on another personality. It’s strange but it was an interesting observation I connected with when I thought of Diane Birch.
