You might have noticed that I’ve been featuring models more often with a focus on the face since I find that they have such unique and striking features. Most of the time I don’t even know who they are until days after. In this case, I photographed a lovely model outside Balmain S/S2011 and recently found out her name! But as a photographer, I find that sometimes it’s easier not knowing their identity because otherwise I might’ve been intimated by her presence rather than drawn in by her beauty.
On another note, I feel that I’ve been lacking updates on Citizen Couture in the last few days and I apologize. I’ve been adjusting to a part-time office job that I took in order to be covered under a health care plan. With my condition and not getting the necessary medical follow-ups, I felt vulnerable to an unforeseeable future. It’s quite scary feeling that you can lose almost everything from the medical bill of one single accident or miss necessary medical check-ups because it’s unaffordable. But enough depressing news! I can only thank my friends/family for their help and the flexibility this job allows for me to continue traveling for Fashion Week.
