CARINE ROITFELD

Most of you probably read about Carine Roitfeld’s recent resignation from her Editor-In-Chief position at French Vogue. I think it came as a surprise for all of us and there are still many speculations why she left despite an interview where she said, “it’s been an incredible adventure, but maybe in my heart and soul, I am more of a freelancer.” Whatever the reason is, I find her move admiral because it’s not easy stepping out from a comfort zone, especially with (perhaps) the most sought-after position in the industry. It’s a bold move, but with an impressive resume, I think she will still maintain a strong presence and influence over others.
